Welcome to the Minnesota
Area Radio Control Electric Enthusiast's (MARCEE) online hanger.
We are a non-profit organization/club dedicated to building and flying
electric powered radio controlled aircraft. The club was formed
a few years ago, and is based in the Minneapolis/St Paul area of
Minnesota. We currently have approximately 75 members, mostly
from Minnesota, but from several other states as well. Dues are
only $15. If you are interested in joining, contact our
membership director Jim Gallup. For more information about our organization
look around the hanger, show up to a meeting or send an E-mail to one
of the board members.
The club does not have a
dedicated field. There are a number of clubs in the area that
graciously let us use their field for periodic events. This
includes the 3M flying club for one of the
Midwest's largest all electric events, the MARCEE fly-in. It is
held in June each year.
We usually meet the first Monday
of every month at 7:00 PM. We meet at the
Fairview Community Center located at Cleveland and County Road B. Just
south of Rosedale in Roseville MN. Visitors and guests are always
welcome.
